Job description:

We are looking for a person to take the role of Field Service Technician. The position is part-time (approximately 80 hours) with the strong possibility of expanding into a full time job contract. The Field Service Technician should help with the maintenance of the hardware devices currently installed in the field. He/She will be working closely with the engineers and project managers in the company. Therefore, the candidate should have strong communication skills and technical expertise.


  • Assist in performing installations of the hardware as well as maintenance of the devices in the field
  • Taking immediate action on different hardware issues that may arise in and out of the office - in the field working on existing installations
  • Taking phone calls and dealing with managing new requests of technical nature
  • Provide support and/or training to customers
  • Update and perform test procedures on hardware and software products

Minimum qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of networking technologies
  • General knowledge of hardware devices and passion for exploring new technologies
  • Should be reliable, self-driven and able to work independently and take own initiative
  • Excellent communication in English – written and verbal (Danish language is a plus, but not a must)
  • Driving license
  • Ability to provide an appropriate level of advice on technical issues to a non-technical audience
  • Ability to keep calm in stressful situations
  • Knowledge about smart metering technologies and Wireless-MBus protocol is an advantage
